Once again I am confused about what to prepare for my family's breaking fast.
Today I came home very late from work and I didn't have time to shop for ingredients to cook today. I opened the refrigerator and there was only a little beef, one potato and tempeh
Okay, because it's already afternoon and it's almost time to break the fast, so I'm cooking with whatever ingredients I have. Hopefully my family will like my cooking this time.
I named my cooking this time as stir-fried beef mixed with potatoes and tempeh. Let's cook it now.
Ingredients
- 250 gr beef
- 1 potato
- 1/5 tempeh board
Seasonings
- 1 onion
- 4 red chilies
- 4 green chilies
- 2 tomatoes
- 5 tablespoons sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
Now we start cooking it.
- Cut the beef into small cubes then boil until the meat is tender
- Cut the potatoes and tempeh into cubes then fry until cooked and golden brown
- Cut the red and green chilies diagonally
- Cut the onions
- Saute the onions until wilted, then add the tomatoes, sauce and chopped chilies.
- Next, add a little water, add the boiled beef. Stir, add salt and sugar to taste, then add the fried potatoes and tempeh.
- And finally, add a little soy sauce and adjust the taste.
And taraaaa...the stir-fried beef mixed with potatoes and tempeh is done and ready to be served. Hmmm...the aroma of the stir-fried beef mixed with potatoes and tempeh is really tempting. Especially when my stomach is hungry because fasting really tickles my hunger, and I can't wait to taste it.
And the time to break the fast has arrived, we immediately broke the fast and ate stir-fried beef mixed with potatoes and tempeh, it tasted delicious and made our appetite increase. I was happy that my family was so happy eating my cooking, even though it was simple but the taste was enough to make them happy.
Oh yeah, maybe there are some processes and ingredients that are missed, because I cooked in a hurry.
