Shahi Matar Paneer
Any dish prepared with paneer makes our mouth water. Vegetarians like us prepare many types of royal dishes with the help of paneer, which also includes matar paneer. This dish is very popular in the Indian state of Punjab. It is served with rice or Indian breads like naan, paratha, puri and roti. Paneer and peas are rich in protein and fiber, which makes it a good food for vegetarians. It can be made for special occasions or for a simple dinner.
Ingredients:-
Paneer:- 200 grams fried
Peas- 1 cup boiled
Onion- 4
Garlic- 7-8 pieces
Ginger- a piece
Green chilies- 5-6
Tomatoes- 4
Cashews- 2 tsp
Bay leaves- 3-4
Asafoetida- 1/4
Cumin seeds- 1 tsp
Red chilli powder- 2 tsp
Turmeric 1/4 tsp
Coriander powder- 2 tsp
Salt- 1 tsp
Paneer masala- 1 tsp
Fresh cream- 1/2 cup
18 Coriander leaves- choppedKasuri methi- 1 tsp
Oil- 1 table spoon
Ghee- 1 table spoon
Method:-
First of all boil the peas and keep them aside
Now cut the paneer into cubes
In ghee Make it light brown
Then put the fried paneer pieces in lukewarm water and keep it for 10 minutes so that the paneer becomes soft
Now fry the roughly chopped (onion, green chillies, ginger and garlic) in oil to prepare the creamy gravy of paneer
When the onion is transpired
Then add chopped tomatoes and cashew nuts
And fry for some more time after covering it with a lid
Slow flame so that tomatoes become soft. Now turn off the gas and let it cool down. Then put it in a mixer jar and prepare a fine paste.
Now put some oil in a pan and add asafoetida, cumin seeds and bay leaves. Add
Add all the dry spices (red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric, salt, and paneer masala)
Cook well. When the masala is cooked, add the blended paste and mix well.
Now add fresh cream or malai and mix it well
When the oil comes up then boil peas
And add fried paneer
When it starts to boil, mix the kasuri methi
After putting it in, turn off the gas and garnish with coriander
Matar paneer ki sabzi It is ready
