At first, I was skeptical about it, then I said to myself: "Come on, it's just juice made of common ingredients! Not a big deal. I'll give it a shot. And if I don't like it, I'll pass. No one is forcing me, so why not? I'm doing this on my own terms."
Well, I have been doing this intermittently for three years now. (And I have a flat tummy!)
Whenever I feel that I'm bloated, or that my tummy sticks out... and at times, I just feel like doing it... I would prepare this!
It's not some magical fix. It just helps my body do what it's designed to do.
I listed the ingredients and asked CoPilot for the benefits:
How does it taste?
Ah.. the first sip carries a fiery edge from the ginger. But it's the kind of sharp that doesn't overwhelm.
It is tangy but refreshing. It has the zesty kick from the lemon. Yet it is mellowed down by the taste of celery and the sweet apple undertones.
I sometimes add mint or cucumber for extra freshness!
After blending, I strain it. I thought of buying a juicer because it strains the solids. But that would be a waste of money!
And I guess I can eat everything too, but I haven't tried, lol.
I made enough for a week plus a day... an ounce and a half of this drink per day.
Then, I chill it in the refrigerator!
It's the first thing I drink in the morning.
