Hollywood Heladería 🍨

Hace unos días, en estas tardes calurosas, salimos a almorzar en familia para hacer algo distinto. Comimos un pollo asado, pero creo que era un pichón, porque el pollo en cuestión era muy pequeño y quedamos con hambre. En vez de pedir otro pollo, decidimos ir por postre. ¿Y qué mejor que un helado para endulzarnos y refrescarnos la vida?

Así que lo que nos quedaba era decidir cuál de todas las heladerías que tenemos cerca de casa nos provocaba. Y nos decidimos por una que aún no habíamos probado: la Heladería Hollywood, que tiene unos helados de películas.

Nunca me había animado a probar los helados de allí porque cada vez que salía veía las largas colas y no me parecía probable que en un tiempo pudiera probarlos. Está heladería tiene apenas unos meses abierta. Y tienen muchos tipos de helados y conos. Nosotros nos fuimos por un sundae sencillo. El mío fue de Helado de ponche de crema, con sirope de fresa y un tocino de galletas trituradas que estaba perfecto. Quiero volver y probar algunos más grandes y con más opciones a ver qué tal.

A few days ago, on these hot afternoons, we went out for lunch as a family to do something different. We ate a roast chicken, but I think it was a pigeon, because the chicken in question was very small and we were left hungry. Instead of ordering another chicken, we decided to go for dessert, and what better than ice cream to sweeten and refresh our lives?

So what was left for us was to decide which of all the ice cream parlors we have close to home would provoke us. And we decided on one that we had not tried yet: the Hollywood Ice Cream Parlor, which has ice cream like in the movies.

I had never dared to try the ice cream there because every time I went out I saw the long lines and it didn't seem likely that I would be able to try it in a while. This ice cream shop has only been open for a few months. And they have many types of ice cream and cones. We went for a simple sundae. Mine was Cream Punch Ice Cream, with strawberry syrup and a crushed cookie bacon that was perfect. I want to go back and try some bigger ones with more options and see how it goes.
