One thing I'm not going to do is see or try out any food and not bring it to you guys
Kosua ne meko you guys!
"Kosua ne meko," which translates to egg and pepper, is a popular Ghanaian street food.
Ingredients:
4 eggs (boiled)
4 fresh chilli peppers (red or green, adjust to taste)
1 small onion (chopped)
Salt (to taste)
Preparations
Place eggs in a pot, cover with water and boil until fully cooked
After the eggs are cooked, remove them and put in a bowl of water to cool, then peel the shells off
Preparing the Pepper Sauce (Meko)
In a mortar and pestle or blender, crush the chilli peppers and onion into a smooth or slightly chunky paste.
Add salt to taste.
Mix in a little vegetable oil for a smoother texture (optional)
Make a deep cut down the middle of each egg without separating the halves completely.
Using a spoon or whatever, put some of the pepper sauce in between the cut like in the pictures above (add onion as a topping if you want). Then enjoy 😉
let me know if you'll be trying this out🤭❤️
