Because I have tried, and experimented with, many ways to make dry sprats. But this method is really new to me. Because the ingredients added to this have really added a new taste to me and a taste that makes me want to eat. Also, this dry sprats tempered can actually be consumed after a long period of time and is very tasty. I think this is a dish that can be accepted even for our meal on a special occasion. Ingredients;
- A teaspoon of soya sauce
- Half teaspoon of salt powder
- About Half of b onion
- A handful of curry leaves
- About ten of dry chillies
- Two cloves of garlic
- A tablespoon of tamarind juice
- 100ml of coconut oil
- 100g of dry sprats
- 30g of roasted peanuts
- A tablespoon of sugar
The method of making;
First of all, you need to cut the half of the big onions, which have been thoroughly washed and cleaned, into small pieces. Apart from that, wash well and cut the dried chillies into small pieces.
After that, you need to grind the two cloves of garlic , the half of the large b onion and the some of dry chili pods well.
After that add half teaspoon of salt powder with a tablespoon of tamarind juice to it and mix well.
Now put a pan on the stove and add oil to it and when the oil gets hot, add the peanuts and fry them for two minutes on normal flame.
Then fry the dried sprats which have been thoroughly washed and cleaned. It does not need to be tied until it is very golden. It is enough to fry it in a medium flame until it turns a little light brown. I think about three minutes is enough time.
Turn off the flame and fry curry leaves within thirty seconds.
Now put another pan on the stove and add oil to it and then add the ground paste and fry it on low flame.
Now add remaining of dry chilli pieces.
Mix all.
Add sugar and mix.
Turn off the stove and add fried sprats and peanuts.
Now add a teaspoon of soy sauce and stir again on low flame for about a minute.
Finally add fried curry leaves and remove from the heat.
