I've never seen a mushroom like that, so I doubt they grow here. I've always been afraid to harvest my own wild mushrooms, anyway, since some are poisonous. There's a farmers' market about an hour away that might have mushrooms; I only go there once or twice a year, but will try to remember to ask next time I'm there. Right now, I have a bag of frozen mushrooms which I bought at my local grocery store, and will be sautéeing them this week as a side dish. I love mushrooms, they're so yummy! 😋
