Yeah, sometimes we make sacrifices for those we love 😂 I like fried oysters, which (where I live, anyway) are sliced into thin strips before being breaded and fried. I've never understood the "raw" oyster thing, though — besides the obvious danger of food poisoning, especially if they aren't fresh, they are swallowed whole and only spend a second or two on the tongue. So, what's the point? Or am I missing something...? 🤔

Thin strips? I can't imagine! In here, the entire oyster is fried.
Japanese love "raw" like sashimi 😅 I think the point is that it's like drinking oysters when eating it raw. The oysters need to be prepared carefully to avoid food poisoning.
