Most of the South Africans like to make a big meal for their families on a Sunday, like vegetables and so on.
Well, yesterday I felt like cooking a big meal for my family.
I made nice pumpkin, green beans, rice chicken, and baked potatoes 💪

I bought the green beans at the greenbeans on a market at Spar. On a Wednesday the vegetables are very cheap. I bought the green beans for R5 a pack. I like to buy a few packets and freezes it.
I made the green beans first. I put the green beans in a pot and add a potato and a half, and an onion. Cook it together until soft.
When it was soften I strained the water added some salt and pepper and butter and mashed it. The green beans are ready. 😀
I had a few pieces of chicken I decided to make the chicken in the oven. I spiced the meat with some salt and braai spice add the chicken to the oven on 180°c until it's ready.
What is a plate of cooked food without baked potatoes? I took about 5 big potatoes and peeled them, chopped them up, and cooked them in the microwave for about 15-20 minutes and then I added some salt onto the potatoes and a drizzle of oil and baked them in the airfryer until crispy. My family loves these baked potatoes I make them often. 😛
Something sweet I made the pumpkin. I added the frozen pumpkin into a pot with butter and sugar and a pinch of salt then cooked it until soft then I mashed it.
I made 1 cup of rice.
All my food was done and ready to eat. I mixed the rice in the pan with the meat for some flavor 😋
I can remember that my dad always used to like this. When I was still in the house my mom used to do this mixing he's rice into the pan of the meat. He loved it.

I miss writing every day. But it's so busy these days. With a little toddler and my son with his homework and stuff. I am just tired at night. But I must make time for writing hey.
