Toasted bread with egg and mozzarella cheese (Eng/Esp)

Today I'm back with a different and delicious breakfast. I wanted to eat bread, but not in the traditional way, so I decided to slice it, add butter, egg, and mozzarella cheese—a combination that would delight the palate and offer a different alternative for breakfast or dinner.

Ingredients:

  • 2 round bread rolls
  • 50 grams of mozzarella cheese
  • 1 egg
  • Butter to taste

Procedure:

I sliced the bread, and the serrated knife designed for this purpose was very helpful. Once this step was complete, I spread butter on both sides.

I placed a frying pan over low heat and added the bread slices to toast them, turning them over to achieve the same effect on both sides.

While this was happening, I beat the egg thoroughly, which I poured very carefully over the bread, turning it over so that it would cook.

Finally, I grated the cheese and added it on top of the bread. I waited a while for it to melt.

I loved the result. It was a different, nutritious, and delicious breakfast. The bread was crispy and had an incredible buttery flavor. The egg also had an interesting, fluffy texture. The only thing missing was a good cup of coffee.

Hoy vuelvo con un desayuno diferente y delicioso, pues quería comer pan pero no de la forma tradicional, así que se me ocurrió cortarlos en rodajas, agregar mantequilla, huevo y queso Mozzarella, una combinación que alegraría al paladar y ofrecería una alternativa diferente para comer en la mañana o cenar.

Procedimiento:

Rebané los panes, me fue de gran ayuda el cuchillo con forma de sierra destinado para ello. Una vez que estuvo listo este paso, les unté mantequilla de ambos lados.

Coloqué un sartén a fuego bajo y allí agregué las rebanadas de pan para que se tostaran, las volteé para conseguir el mismo efecto en ambas caras.

Mientras esto sucedía batí el huevo muy bien, el cual vertí con mucho cuidado encima de los panes, le di vuelta para que se cocinaran.

Finalmente rallé el queso y lo añadí encima de los panes. Esperé un rato para que se derritiera.

Me encantó el resultado, fue un desayuno diferente, nutritivo y delicioso. Los panes quedaron crujientes y con el sabor increíble de la mantequilla. De igual forma, el huevo ofreció una textura interesante y esponjosa. Sin duda, lo único que me faltaba era una buena taza de café.
