Hello Everyone!
I've never shared a recipe in this community before, so this is gonna be a first one 😀
My friend was staying over at my apartment this weekend and we decided to bake cookies. Neither of us had baked before so we were quite excited to do this. After watching a few youtube videos and googling a bit. we felt like "okay we can do this!".
Here below is the recipe we used:
Ingredients:
The original recipe amounted to about 12-14 cookies but we didn't want to bake that many since it was our first time.- 58g unsalted butter
- 50g white sugar
- 75g brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 93g all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- Chocolate chips - both dark and milk
Method:
- Heat butter on low flame until it browns

2.Measure the brown and white sugars in a separate bowl. Add the browned butter to it and mix it well.

4.Add the Choco chips

5.Scoop dough onto the butter paper/baking sheet, then chill for half an hour.

6.While the dough is resting, preheat the oven at 175 degrees Celsius.
7.Bake the cookies for 12-14 minutes. We baked for 14 minutes.

The cookies tasted amazing but they turned out to be flat for some reason. If anyone here has any tips or any idea about where we went wrong, I would really appreciate it!
