The best side dish for lunch
Because of the raining season in my country, snails can be seen everywhere as long as there is bush , garden or plant around,
All these lovely snail seen in this pictures was picked from our little garden at the back of my house.
I thought of what to prepare with them and a very nice recipe came to my mind,
"Hey girl why not make a nice, colorful peppered snail perfect for the cold weather"

🌻half bucket of snail
🌻4pieces of red pepper (tatashe)
🌻1 Medium sized onions
🌻2 cubes of maggi
🌻Natural pepper soup spice (to your desired taste)
🌻Salt to taste
🌻Small sized Ginger
🌻4cups Water
🌻 Scent leaf for garnishing
🌻 Small piece of alum for washing the snail (not for cooking)
Am fully aware that some people do love their snail prepared with the shell but in my own case, I love to remove the shell and wash properly before preparing my dish,
These dish took about 30minute, it took these long due to the time used in breaking the shell one after the another.

Break the shell and remove the snail inside the shell , properly wash with alum and set aside

Slice your onions, pound your pepper and ginger, slice your scent leave and set aside

In a clean pot, add the washed snail, onions, red pepper , salt and maggi cubes and allow to boil for 5Minutes or till it brings out it's natural water

Add one and half cup of water ,ginger and natural spice and allow to boil to about 3-4 minutes
Add the scent leaf and allow for a minute, bring down and serve with any main dish of your choice or rather eat it as a main dish with any beer of your choice,
Perfect for the cold weather.
