It was potluck day the next day, so I decided to bake butter cookies the day before. The ingredients were softened butter, powdered sugar, a small pinch of salt, egg yolks, vanilla extract, flour, and cornstarch. I will link the baking video that I followed at the end of this post :D
After mixing everything together, I molded it into a square dough using baking paper, then put it into the freezer. After 30 minutes, I took it out and cut the dough into many flat squares using a knife.
I tried to make some patterns on the cookie dough but it was not very successful ahahaha
I put the cookies in the oven at 160 degrees for 12 minutes, here is what they looked like.
The second batch, I feel these batch looks better hahhaa.
I'm glad that people actually finished all of the cookies by the end of the potluck!
