I recently looked into that topic and was surprised about quite a few brands which I thought were american but are actually european or the other way around.
It's quite obvious though, that Europe is under represented in the IT sector as a whole. It would be quite hard to avoid services by Google, Microsoft or streaming providers like Netflix.
