korea: A Taste of Culture and Modern Wonder

I’ve always been someone who loves to express himself and talk about things I know well. Some people who don’t really understand me might call me a chatterbox, but those who appreciate wisdom know I’m simply sharing what I’ve learned.

Now, if someone who knows nothing about Korea asks me to describe Korea to them, trust me, I’ll be more than happy to. I’ve experienced Korea in ways that go beyond pictures on the internet. From watching their dramas and TV shows, to visiting the Korean stores in my city, trying their food, and even learning a few words in Korea language, I can say I’ve had a little taste of Korea even while I haven’t visited the country which I hope to do some day.

If I were to describe korea to anyone, I’d start with modern Korea, the culture, the vibe, the rhythm of life that somehow balances tradition and innovation. Do you know Korean are known for their amazing fashion and good skin care products, ok let’s talk about their fashion. Right from the start, I mean the old Korea, there’s this unique harmony between the old and new, their prince are always well dressed and anywhere you see a prince or his subordinates, you would know immediately because of the designs on their clothes. To the modern Korea, I love their dressing sense, it almost as if that’s where fashion for different outfit was born. I don’t think I have seen one bad dressed Korea.

But then, we can’t talk about Korea without talking about food, that’s one part of the culture I could go on about all day. Korean food isn’t just something you eat; it’s an experience. The colors, the aroma, the mix of sweet, spicy, and savory, it all tell a story I’ll be willing to listen to some day. I was told the Kimchi and my country Egusi soup have similar taste and I’ve been dying to try it. And trust me, anyone who knows me knows how much I love good food. I may not always eat a lot, but I could talk about good food forever.

So if I’m ever asked to describe Korea, I wouldn’t just talk about a country, I’d talk about a feeling. A place where culture meets creativity, and where every dish, every song, and every word spoken feels like a story waiting to be told. This is me and this is my Korea.

You really do have a good hang on Korea and your knowledge is vast too.

As for he language, I only know a little from watching their movies but for food, my knowledge is limited.
