I agree that this(censorship) is crazy,but note that Kimmel also said that he agreed with the canceling when Conservative voices were being censored as well.I am torn between it all really,because the Conservatives were calling it wrong when it was happening to them
Yea I don't agree with cancelling from either side really, naturally that's why I'm on hive where some times you can read or hear the craziest takes just because of true freedom of speech.
Ok I watched half and I’m tired but if John Oliver and Ted Cruz agreed, I probably also agree and I cannot stand either of them. The left and right have a lot more in common than they do with the their media and political figures.
yeah i mean I don't really find most of late night hosts funny, but John olivers writers are quite decent and common sense stuff I feel like, so a good way to catch up on recent happenings rather than relying on news news
John Stewart makes me laugh although there are certain topics I think his brain is broken on, I kinda liked Trevor Noah before the Trump Era. And Conan takes the gold from me.
But I’d prefer small YouTubers and friends and hivesters any day

I use headlines and deep dives for my news now and I try to get both sides but only when I’m really curious. So like a big conflict, instead of filling my head with the day to day, I’ll try to watch a few videos of the history and what people on the ground say on both sides, 3x a year
I haven’t used it but one of my favorite YouTubers (Sabbatical) advertises it and I do my own version of it like twice a month maybe. Maybe I’ll subscribe at some point
I may be biased cause I met some people who said he consulted with them on a specific episode and heard he kind of took their words and ideas and spun it in a bit of a dishonest direction for views and to look like a philanthropist.
