Would you be interested in hosting a contest to post more reviews through scrobble.life? It'd be good for our SEO to potentially get outsiders to join on guest accounts.
Yes, and I’ve actually been thinking about doing that (I’ve even written a draft of the idea). However, I haven't done it yet because the community still has few users and I don't have a very large audience to promote it.
What do you suggest, @acidyo?
I could sponsor some hive for the contest as well as @peakd promotion, but not sure what the contest would be for exactly, maybe encourage users to post about something they've watched lately and to let them know how they can post through scrobble.life? Something simple.
That's what I thought so far... My idea is to host a themed contest. Each week (or every two weeks) would feature a specific theme. All competitors with valid posts (according to the rules) would receive a reward, but only the top three would win the best prizes.
Thoughts?
Basically, it would be a contest with no expiration date (because that would keep users' interest in writing / posting more reviews).
Prizes can switch each new edition (hive, hbd, ecency points or HP delegations).
Sure, but maybe we could start it off with something simpler so as many can participate as possible? Then move onto themed ones after.
Got it. Let's go with a simple start (at least from now).
Can I go ahead with the idea, then? If yes, just let me know how much HIVE you intend to sponsor (so I can mention it in the post, along with the one I’ll be sponsoring as well).
Hi, @acidyo.
Could you explain those 50 hive for promoting the post? I didn't get it.
Plus, can I split the 300 hive into different prizes for future editions of the contest?
the peakd promotion feature, so the post shows up everywhere, think half of the hive gets burned, the other goes to peakd. Sure, I can send more hive for future contests depending on participation as well if you want that instead.
