I feel like Snaps suffers from a lot of what Hive does at times, just in a faster manner ... people come excited, don't feel much excitement and connection, and leave, just having not persevered long enough to see the benefits. It is a sadly familiar pattern.
Fair enough but is the perseverance helping on snaps. I know it does on long form but here I don't think it's as true
It depends on your sense of how long. It took me a YEAR to break through on long form. Here I use a strategy I developed and recommend to others now: four or more solid comments on others' posts for each post of my own, working every day or every other day. It still took a while...
I just had a look the earnings are super low here even for the top snap earners and also engagement is usually not great either
I suppose because I started in a bear market, consistency though with little strikes me as a workable path ... with Hive so long below $1, the earnings and the engagement are low across the board, and it cannot be brute forced upward. We do not seem to have a marketing plan for chattier people, so I talk to the ones who are here and engage with the newbies when I see them!
Need to have more unity and direction across the chain between dapps I get we decentralized but doesn't mean we can't try to work together
There is a fine line between decentralized and disorganized ... good direction makes the difference.
Totally I really hope we can get it together here, but unfortunately it's not looking good I'm trying and and I know other are too but not nearly enough of us are doing much to help this chain, I think I will have to end up making my own variation, I been wanting to make a proper blockchain for a while , I am a very good systems designer but lack the programming skills needed to make it and also even with the skills that would take a long time , I am hoping that I can leverage AI to help me overcome these but ideally hive could be this global chain I believe the world needs
The irony: Hive is really out ahead of one of the bigger moves in altcoins -- facilitation of things including Bitcoin -- but what this is going to require is a change in focus in order to make the most of it.

We literally ARE onboarding the masses to Hive and then to Bitcoin and back with practically no limits to how far this can go with dedicated use -- if this ends up being the wave, we need to focus and catch it -- but can we? Who is going to provide the leadership?
Which is the challenge with most of Hive, too ... so, the cycle keeps repeating ...
