#summer offers me a new view on life, with the help of an amazing live oak tree
(and, the mosquitoes enjoyed me being lost in contemplation, too -- OUCH!)

Stopping and smelling roses is how I center my life ...
... the problem now is that the mosquitoes are out sipping ... summer is indeed here ...
Oh I hate those blood suckers they really ruin nature 🤣 I love nature but for me work and creating are my escape
I have lemongrass oil in white vinegar to keep the suckers off me until October ... but it is time to enjoy the windier western half of the hill ...
It does ... mosquitoes do not like citronella type odors, and lemongrass in rubbing alcohol or vinegar is effective -- about 40 drops of lemongrass oil per 8-12 ounces of either one. I do vinegar because I just have more of it here.
This is such an interesting form. hahaha
I dislike mosquitoes, but we have them all year round! XD
All year ... they are trying to hold out here well into mild winters here so they must be taking notes from your crew ...
About that tree ... I saw that shaping up a couple of years ago, but getting back there and seeing ... live oak trees are WILD in what shapes they sometimes make ... at least that one is basically upright ... they can grow such that they can trip you and knock your head off at the same time ...
That might be the case... they've been in touch. hahaha
Ohh... that's interesting! Honestly, I don't know the names of trees. Or their characteristics. hahaha So, thanks a lot! :D
You're welcome!
Yeah, there's nothing like getting bit up in DECEMBER by the hardy crew of mosquitoes when winter weather is running late but there was big rain for few days in a warm OCTOBER and none since... not last year, thankfully, but trust me, the local mosquitoes are trying to break all the rules...
Yes, especially this aspect of new beginnings. It's like the energy is just there, a little bit beneath the surface to start or expand on what has already been started.
Just getting ripe, like a lot of summer fruit ... almost there ... just starting to be...
