We used to have quails - easy to maintain, and they were loving their 5-star coop.
But today I think I would raise rabbits chickens and a goat
yeees! they are, very quiet, and the little sound they make is very pleasant.
One thing you must do is make the coop where you can easily reach, cause they leave eggs everywhere... they don't build nests.
