#plantrescue #gardening It's been two months after I put cuttings of my little Monstera Adansonii into a prop box. They are all doing well. Some even better than others! I plan to move some of them into semi-hydroponics when they push third leaf.

That's a very interesting way of cultivating. Why do you do it this way?

It was in a terrible state (lost all leaves) so I cut it into pieces. That's the standard way to propagate monsteras. I put it in a box full of moist perlite so they can develop roots again.

Interesting way to make the roots grow. Thank you for the explanation!

Glad to know that they are doing well, great job friend.

Thanks!

Is it worth grafting them onto the stem of another plant?

They grow so fast and root so good, I don't think there's a point grafting them :)

It seems to me a peculiar way of doing gardening work.

Why?

I meant, on such a small scale.

Hmm, maybe "gardening" is the wrong word for this. Those are indoor plants :D Not a native speaker so hard to tell how to call it :D
