July 8 - Got an email letting me know my order is packet and could be shipped any minute.

I feel your pain. I’m waiting for a sofa almost two months. Five days is fast!! 💨🤣
Seriously, it depends on many factors like availability, distance, holiday season… logistics are complex.
I can understand a longer time for a sofa, if it's not readily made, but this is a clothing item, all you have to do is place it in a bag, print a label and give it to the shipping company. Job done. But 5 days? Madness. They need to go out of business as this is not ok.
If the store is in the same country you are right to think that it should have reached your hands. They have little future if they don't get smart.

For me it kind of depends on the web shop you bought it from. If it's an one man (or woman) business I understand the delay. But for a large web shop I would expect them do ship faster.

No, they didn't but that doesn't mean delivery has to take a week.
This is quite a huge platform and they should work on making sure products are quickly shipped.
Pretty soon shipping time is going to be a deciding factor and they deserve what's coming.
