There are still so many accounts leaking their private keys...

Don't use your private keys on web apps, please.

Think about this... if you are using your private key in a web app... you are potentially showing it to that app (most likely a hacker):

If you had some more instructions...explain about it.

For a start.. reduce what keys you use. Mostly use Posting keys only... never use your owner keys ANYwhere... especially if the accounts have value in it.

Then review the apps before using them. Sometimes all you need is to find the source code is open. If it is, you can check!

We should build an HIVE Security Tag-Team Alliance =)

It has been hard to promote security over laziness. Maybe apps need to deny allowing priv keys, and then after that make explicitly clear that if people see that, it's a big red flag.

I am going to try make a post sometime this weekend, explaining how it feels using priv keys (and depending on which one you use, how bad it can be).

Yes..sir.It is a nice thing to know and must be care about it.Thank you so much...!PIZZA

Same thing with the "master phrase"... they can derive ALL your keys. So don't use it. Its similar to what on other chains they call "seed phrase".

Understanding the functions of the keys will let you learn about how to use them.

I need to post a post about this...

Thank you so much about your reply.Good luck.

Especially this period where sites and apps are rolling out every minutes due to easy programming by AI. 😩
