I spotted a tiny pitcher on a young sprout ot my pitcher plant.
And I fed the big boys with some dead insects I've found.

That's cool! How do those flowers smell? I wonder if they'd grow here? Gets pretty cold here in winter but mostly hot and humid here.
It doesn't have flowers, so no smell. It likes humid and a constant, slightly higher temperature. That's why I keep them indoors.
🤦I thought the pitcher was the flower🤣 thought they caught insects🤷 I'm all confused over here apparently🤯🤣🤗
Maybe it technically is seen as a flower, but it doesn't look like one. The pitcher contains liquid, that does attract insects, that slip on the inside and fall in.
I need one here to collect the flies and mosquitoes. They're bad out here this morning🤦🤣 I think I need to plant some lemon grass and some citronella
I don't know how effective they are. I have them because I think they look cool!
Yes, it is. The pitcher contains a liquid that can dissolve insects.
In nature they attract insects into the pitchers, which slippery walls make them fall in.
