X (formerly Twitter) is a joke. You need premium to edit a post? Even for a typo? Absolutely ridiculous. Snaps is so much better. Hive is so much better. Abandon X.
We all know it and maybe we don’t want them to know it, just imagine all of those trolls on here. They can all stay on Twitter and carry on enjoying their debacles!
Ah, just like I tell people my home town isn't a great place to live. I get it ;)
Userbase is a massive draw and really the key feature.
No where have I talked directly with more famous people outside of my dinner parties of course.
Celebrities are just people too.
My dinner parties are usually me, my cat (she's very famous) and my wife. HIVE is often present, as I can never seem to drag myself away from it.
and you have to have Premium to get monetized. Here you post and get paid in 7 days, no KYC no hassle!
Terrible design. It is like being charged to use the backspace key in a word processor. I deleted the tweet I made instead of letting it sit with the wrong tag. (I used $HIVE (which links to other HIVE, not the one we all know and love).
Don't stress yourself as even with premium, you only have 1h to edit your post. So you need to check before you post, or right after.
Oh, that is even worse! :D What a farce that a product such as it even exists in the market!
I would be ok with View History and Edit function, as we have on Hive, but since they have Delete option, the big guys are deleting their posts every time the market goes against them, or the 💩 coin they are shilling gets rugged, so ... there's no good option 😆
There is a great option - to not engage with X or traditional platforms at all :P
Don't go back. The less users they have, the more reasons for others to leave too.
Oh, I was never a heavy user - I was just doing a tweet to promote the fact that I now have a hive witness node that I run under the roof of my own house :P
I didn't know about this. I tried so much to edit a post but couldn't find edit feature, I had to leave it that way.
Hive is farrr better.
The biggest problem I see right now is that apps and websites built on Hive are a bit more cumbersome, confusing, and sometimes slower.
They're slower than X...
Unfortunately, even though you're right, this discourages many content creators.
