They may not do it professionally, but for their own life skills, they would keep the lessons

😄 talking about profession, that's what am into. There are people even as a skill that don't like doing it, I have seen and been with many.

In my opinion, something that we grew up doing daily like those kids kinda shapes our future. I would not grow up daily making meals with my parents, and then when I become an adult resort to always eating out. I have the skill, so why not use it when I need it most. Of course, there are exceptions when ones chosen path in life makes us so busy that we don't have time to cook a few times. But there is no way you will not use a skill you grew up with to help yourself even when you have another professional path. Mind you cooking is a life skill that we can't do without because we must eat. Except if you have a chef, you pay to do that for you.
