Thankful you're ok! I've had them go right beside our house before. Uprooted a tree and twisted top out of another. It's scary for sure!
Did you get much damage?
nah i'm in town for business, so i was in a hotel. but i shared a video on snaps when it happened...a manhole cover was coming out of the road lol and plenty of wind, treees uprooted
I have never seen it like this in my lifetime out here...Every day, tornadoes or funnel clouds for the past week and a bit. Crazy weather.
Hope all ended well I've been through a few hurricanes myself lost count although not the same they're both scary
oh i couldnt imagine....this thing lasted a few minutes. hurricanes seem to go on forever
Just off the top of my head Kate in 1987, Lily 1996, Michelle 2001, Ike 2008, Irma 2018 and so many others in between that missed us or were not bad enough to remember
The wind was crazy but I never really felt in any danger. Looks like the tornado touched down a KM or so from me.
