i might request help from my wife on this one. making badges that look good in both light mode and dark mode was not easy for me. @ankapolo

I think the key will be so they don't blend in with the profile pic would be the outline color and thickness, maybe a double outline of white and black, so an outline shows up with either mode? Or a back shadow for a 3-d effect
and have it offset outside of the profile pic a bit more like this example from another site
