I watched a movie that portrayed a seemingly perfect love... Two people who fell instantly, built a life, and had everything feel right, at least from her perspective.

It made me wonder if perfect love truly exist, or is it shaped by what we know, feel, and hope for?

And more personally, do you believe you deserve the kind of love you’re hoping for and why?

Sort:

if you can offer true love to someone that you should also receive the same thing i do believe in perfect love

I believe in it too but do you think offering true love will bring it to you too? What if the other doesn't know how to show this love?

i guess love should always hurt on one side but in an honest relationship it should served equally true love 🥰

That's true, but I think that's where it gets rare... A love shared equally.

we just suffer with love

But it shouldn't be like that all the time, love is sweet too. 🥹

me i left love people are after money and ladies chase men with money🥲

Lol not all ladies though but yeah, a lot of them are.

if you can offer true love to someone that you should also receive the same thing i do believe in perfect love

I wanted to say I never found love but last few years Life would contradict this. I am taking 5 step back approach on relationship now. I have learned not to assess, compare, judge partner or lover and waste time. Life is too short to love too.

I'm happy for you about the last few years, only few are lucky to say that.
That's a great lesson too, comparison has done more harm than good if not a personal assessment.

From what I've seen, read and experienced, i don’t think perfect love exists in the way movies portray it. Real love will have misunderstandings, bad days, differences, and moments where both people have to consciously choose each other

And don't you think that's the perfect love she was referring to, choosing each other even with the differences and misunderstanding?

In my own case, that is how I see it to be. She might have a different meaning to it. And I've not seen the movie to know what she referred to as perfect love.

Okay, I get. It's why I said what we see as good could not be in another's eye. But I think love is same most of the time, it's an action not just feeling.

Yeah! It's both

But I do believe in a love that feels right because both people feel safe, respected, understood, and genuinely wanted. Not perfect, just real enough to keep choosing each other

I guess the word we would be using is "real", not perfect. Only God can show perfect love which He has done. Choosing each other every single time, seem a lot like God's love to man.

Absolutely! Our love can't be perfect. There will always be a comma somewhere.

True but we still choose each other with that comma.

Of course. That is why it can't be perfect

And yes, I believe I deserve the kind of love I hope for, but I also know I have to become the kind of person capable of giving that love back. Love shouldn’t just be something I expect to receive

My point exactly! I wonder to myself a lot if I am becoming the kind of person in love that I want someone to be in love with me.

If you wonder, are you?

I'm not yet but I am working towards becoming one.

Alright! Keep working

You can't know without giving it a try
Risks are involved always

Yeah, there is always risk in every decisions and actions.

Risk hain to ishq hain
Means
Love is risky
If you take risk, you get to find true love

That's right!

Hope you find your soulmate
Happy weekends

I will, thank you. 😊
Happy weekend!
