The other day I said my Helios 44-2 wasn't a very sharp lens, and then manually focused this sharp detailed shot of a tiny grasshopper somehow! I really do love this lens

The bokeh on this lens is the main appeal! The swirly effect only appears at a certain distance from the subject, but it's so much fun. It's now my go-to lens unless I really need something else
The more you play with it, the more you understand how it works and what this lens are really capable of!
