Not too bad. I've been back at work, but then I've also done some running and a pub music session. Hoping to make this a good year.
A pub music session already, that’s good. Normally quiet around here, not an awful lot going on. Mind you there is a new ModCaf venue tomorrow, down in Petworth, Sussex. Bit of a trek but I’m keen to support the guys. I’m not taking anything with me, just taking my ears.
You can do a report on it anyway. Maybe see if you can recruit some more musicians to Hive this year. Where do the ModCaf people usually hang out online?
Right now it depends on the weather, the red warning troubles me a bit and I’m not keen to drive in such conditions. If I miss tonight, there will always be next ,month or March.
They tend to be Discord folks and probably use other platforms. We’ve a mixture of age groups ranging from 20 to 70, which will determine where they spend their time somewhat.
A lot of them subscribe to my Substack newsletter Modulations, so I can do a write up on there about Hive and how it might appeal to musicians
Need to take care in wild weather. I guess people are all over the place online these days. You have to think about why they would want to be on Hive. I have my own reasons.
