The west side of the Cascades mountains in Oregon and Washington can be similar to that during the winter. I moved to the east side to escape some of that but now we are forecast for 4 straight days of rain. You can run but you can't hide I guess. :)
Here, the forecast still shows 2 weeks of no blue sky. Hoping for a cold airmass to come because cold usually means sunshine this time a year. I hear that the US has had quite a cold winter this time around. Especially the central north, Oregon, not so much, I think?
Yeah, our snow pack in the Cascades here in Central Oregon is way behind. Mt Bachelor ski resort usually opens by Thanksgiving but they are still awaiting enough snow. An atmospheric river off the Pacific is dumping a lot of water but too warm for snow. Hope you get 🌞 soon. :)
