Look at that water! The first time I saw water like that in BC, my mind was blown. Would you happen to know what mineral causes that particular colour?
It appears from what AI tells me it is mostly because it is so clear and cold combined with light reflection.

Yep. That is true also. Here is Diablo lake in North Cascades NP. The green color is from sediment in glacial run off.

This was early Oct a few years ago. I don't think it was quite peak colors yet.
