I've experienced serious health issue in the past that made me appreciate good health. But then, I feel good health is often taken for granted. We don't realize how important it is until we have a crisis. Or, what do you think people take for granted the most?
Good health is mostly taking for granted.
Some people don't take enough water until migraine attack. As simple as it is a lot of people don't actually care.
I have a friend who don't sleep much. If I warned him about that habit he will shrug it off. But I love nature....
Now he has been sleeping like a pregnant woman throughout this week.😂
Automatically the body is now controlling him.
Even when I have exams, I don't stay up reading when I'm actually feeling sleepy, except if the sleep did not come. If it shows up, omo.... I'm gone o 😴

Health is one thing people take for granted. They know they need good health, but so long as they have small strength, they will always disregard medical check up. It's sad too see that people know about the importance of good health, but refused to seek it.
Yeah. I know you would have seen a lot of cases as a nurse. A lot of health cases that have turned big could have been averted if the patients had paid attention to it while it was still giving little signs.
No doubt. We only think of being normal as a blessing when we are ill. That is just human nature. Otherwise, we don't take things serious.

Life is good, life can be bitter. It's interesting how mysterious life is. People make mistakes, and they learn from their mistakes. Young or old, there's at least one lesson we've all learnt from life. Tell me, what's the most important lesson you've learnt in life?
I have learnt not to be dependent on anybody, in this life you must work to survive.
This is one of the best lesson yet. Dependence... This is something I see as a venom. It slowly poison your ability to be independent, thus, making you dependent a lot on someone. I'm not saying it's not good to be dependent, but from my pov, the only person I depend on........
I don't why you are saying this .
But every other person is not a bunch of disappointment.
That the biggest and painful lesson life teaches, and I have learnt this one, because it came with a price which I paid..
It's okay, that's a lesson learnt, I don't let my pass keep me down, I have a great and bright future waiting.👌

For me, I've learned quite a lot. One of which is to not compare my journey to that of others.... Comparison if not guided steals one's joy/peace.
Comparison has put people in a lot of problems. It starts from parental comparison with their children peers. The parent says "look at chukwuemeka, he's doing well for him self.
He bought a car for his mom and he's building a house at the moment. You what are you doing? You're here eating my food and lazying around."
This comparison has pushed people to do a whole lot of things, both positive and negative.
I learnt to never compare myself with others, rather, I should use their success as a motivation to do better through legal means.

I've always held onto the words that you'll be treated just as you do to others.
But in this recent times, I don't know what to make of that anymore. Not when you treat people as good as you can possibly be and in return, they threw stones at you.

Many people actually face this thing you're saying. Treat people with care and they walk over you. They don't return the care you show, rather, they treat you like you're desperate for them and their attention. They'll think you want something in return,
Or they'll probably think that you're into them, so, they start behaving anyhow. On the there hand, when you show people nonchalance, they tend to be attracted to you. They would want to come close to you and do things just so they can get a bit of your attention
Life is just like that. I've been in this situation before. I've seen how people get walked over and I've been walked over because I cared. When you care less for people and ignore their feelings, they would behave right knowing that you don't really give a damn.
You know it's pretty much easier said than done.
But still works well in most cases. But for those who are always so invested in "what people will say", I can't help but pity them 😂.
Thing is, people will always talk. If you do good, they'll talk. If you do bad, they'll talk. The only option is just satisfy your conscience. Do good the way you know how to and try not to be too caring.

The high time you learn to keep even the smallest details to yourself, the better. You'll think you're connecting with them, but the truth is, after that connect, they would use what you told them about yourself, against you.
