It's better than living in a country that does load shedding. Knowing you'll lose power is just worse since you have to plan so much around it.

Yeah that sounds even worse. We have planned outages but those are usually for maintenance.
My trips back to Nepal were definitely hurt by it. I think it's better now, but when I was there it was pretty bad.
