And this is why we put out bird feeders on cold days - usually not for the wood pecker, but he's a welcomed change of sight from the other birds.

Lily insisted that we'd put the Christmas tree out on the terrace to use it as a bird feeder. Neat idea. I'll try to snap some pics tomorrow, since I'm happily stuck here for another week.
