The sun is actually white. It just appears yellow or orange to us through the earth's atmosphere.
Well, I was totally thrown off when I found out about this.

I actually read that in a book sometimes ago, but I felt that wasn't true. Wow, so the sun is actually white, then I wouldn't be surprised if that which actually looks whitish (the moon) isn't white then..or what do you think?
