Back when we lived in town I took care of a lot of strays. They would regularly bring treats. Mice, moles etc..

Mine doesn’t bring his treat home. Lol. Even when you find him with it, he grunts so you leave him alone😂

Haha. Bad day for the squirrel. I bet when he realized his predator had caught up with him, he went "Oh, shit. This is the day I die."

It's sad that the photo is captured in a way that feels comforting. It doesn't seem like a prey-predator situation at all.
