I read this sentence:

"More and more, it seems that showing happiness is more important than being happy."

And we should reflect on this: let's not denigrate being happy, let's just be happy, period.

        Real happiness doesn’t require continual validation. The best things in life are the silent ones that never make it to a post. In the end, it is way more significant to live in honest peace and with real gratitude than to fool people that we are happy.
