Hmm I came across a video on my fyp yesterday and it broke my heart.
A mother called her own 22 years daughter useless bec she doesn't have a stable income yet.
And also comparing her with her friends children.
Seems a lot of people have forgotten that all fingers are not equal
Some parents can be quite careless with the words they throw at their children 😔😑 and it's quite sad how people in general, think that comparing and belittling someone to his or her peers would make them thrive to be much better.
Most times, it simply demoralises them to the point of giving up on everything.
If I heard does words from a stranger it won't hurt than hearing it from my mother. Chai it will take you all the cells in your body not to breakdown 😌
Like bruhhh! The pain of that is irreparable honestly.
Parents really have to be more mindful.
