According to https://www.hiveblockexplorer.com/@ironshield his recovery account is set to lturner, has that already been changed? Because if not then he should be able to regain control of the account using an account update action from that lturner account I believe...
I didn't press for details, given the situation and stress he was likely feeling at the moment.
One of Ironshield's (Ben's) ancillary accounts is @gratefuleveryday so they may update there when and if they are able to discover how it happened.
