Yes, it is a national day to celebrate the change of governace from military to democracy.
There is a national broadcast on tele by the president and subsequently state braodcast from governors of the different states with respect to our journey , struggles and way forward 👍.
The citizens and some activists also use it as a day to protest about bad governance and talk about other things they need the government to address 🙄 😉.
It is a beautiful day, but most often, it is hijacked by peraons with ulterior motive and can lead to chaos.
Those malign elements are everywhere; however, it's their right as per democratic norms. Do have a wonderful day!
