The mankind traded this serenity for a cementic world and called it "advancement". Alas!
Nice. Add it to the new contest comments.

That's a good morning. Yeah we are hurting mother earth more than it can heal.
Good Morning🌞, have a beautiful day. The saddest part is we are continuing on this journey. Alas! The humans will mever learn.
Hahaha, such a strange paradox: good morning with a sad reality check.
I don't think anyone traded anything, you can still go and move to the middle of the jungle if you desire.
Nobody is going to stop you...
That's why I, often, visit the northern areas. But, the dynamics have changed now; otherwise, everyone can move to the forest. And, by trading, I didn't mean anything in a literal sense only. Look at it with a bit deeper lense, then the meaning, context and pov of the written thoughts will make a different sense. As an example, the threshold - 1.5 Celsius pre-industrial era - set by the Paris Agreement does not mean that human will seize to exist. Human body will indeed get used to it. But, the overall damage is already visible. There is this strange climate change, scorching heat, La Nina/El Nina iis getting frequent nowadays, endangered species becoming extinct etc.
Thanks for the comment 🥰. I just did the boring yap. Peace 🕊
I don't believe that, and more than that, people love to romanticize the old life. But I don't see them actually moving to an Amish town. So I call bullshit at most, as more and more people keep moving to big cities full of buildings and led lights.
Personally I love big cyberpunkish cities like Tokyo.

Isn't this what romanticizing actually mean? We, humans, love to romanticize the things which are not happening. And the migration or need to move to big cities or urbanization isn't an individual decision; rather, a system built over a century.
Let's say I move to a forest; I will not be surviving 24 hours. This isn't some Bear Grill life, it is going to be a completely different experience. A single forest bite will be enough to erode my whole existence 🤭. And, if we aree not trading nature with the cementic world. Then what is the purpose of all these climate control - COPs, Paris Agreement, UN bodies - initiatives. These can't be mere showpiece.
Btw, I, too, like these cyberpunkish cities.
Neah I dont buy it, if you want to live in the middle of the jungle, go and live in the middle of the jungle. There is no system plotting against you living in a hut full of monkeys, jaguars and mosquitoes. This ain't the Truman show.
And guess what, the jungle isn't MORE dangerous than the last time people lived there, but hey you want nature, you will get nature. You should check Naked and Afraid:
You can see people experiencing full nature. Full of rain water, forest leaves built homes, and fireplaces made out of stones and dry sticks. And then you can feel like an evolved human that got to learn to live with nature and then condemn us all for preferring satellite internet, giant LED screens and traffic.
What good is all this, if nature wouldn't be there? Climate Change will soon start to get worsen than ever. These buildings will not stand a chance against its wrath. My country has seen floods twice in just 4-years. There are other things as well. Not now, but future is scary. I would had believed everything you said, it is true though, but Romanticism theory is a concept from mid-19th century. It's almost two years since humans have realised the eradication of nature.
The purpose is not to live in a forest; the purpose is to keep the plaent earth habitable and healthy. This is the whole point. In just a short span, we have seen extreme weather changes taking place.
Tbh, I am loving these talks 🤭. For the first time, someone is actually serious about his ideology. I am quite impressed!
ok that's a completely different narrative, which I also don't agree but I would leave that alone for now. I just don't think that people really mean when they say how great nature is, but they live in a city and wont move. Is just victimhood syndrome. Same thing when they blame their government or 'the system'.
Blame game is the finest thing. But, I do go to the forests, twice in a year, with camping purposes. Otherwise, when I am in Islamabad, hiking is my favorite activity. The ultimate boss of leg exercise.
Have a good day!
Off topic question: can you guide me a bit about the "LUV" token? Or share the link? So grateful of you.
