🌹 February: The month of love, filled with responsibilities, overflowing with love, and overflowing with work 🥰

Hello everyone, happy Sunday, February 1st!

Time flies, and we've already entered what everyone calls the month of love. For me, love this year might not be as sweet and rosy as in novels. It's a love mixed with sweat, chaos, and the smiles of my family. It's an overflowing love, just as overwhelming as the exhaustion! (lol) But this is the flavor of my life, with my partner as the main character and the responsibilities I have to fulfill.

☀️ Early morning, with the clock hands spinning faster than usual. This morning started exceptionally brightly. I began my first task by preparing breakfast for my mother-in-law. While waiting for the food to cook on the stove, I channeled my inner housewife superhero, doing everything at once: laundry, cooking rice, washing dishes, and mopping the floor. It was a really good morning workout that made me sweat!

Once the food had cooled down, I carefully fed my mother-in-law the egg porridge before taking her to freshen up with a bath. We had an urgent task today; our bright daughter had tutoring at 8 am, so everything had to be done against the clock. After my husband dropped our daughter off, I returned to handle the housework, take care of our mischievous pet, and make sure my mother-in-law lacked nothing.

☕ A moment to relax before the next task begins.
When my husband returned home, we sat down and enjoyed a cup of coffee together. It was a short moment to make eye contact and encourage each other before heading off to our respective duties. My husband went to the garden to take care of the ducks, chickens, and fish, while I took on the task of doing a large laundry job and preparing to enter the kitchen for the second round of challenges.

🍳 Garden Dishes, Infused with Love
Today's lunch is extra special because of the fresh ingredients from our garden, which my husband just harvested for us – beautiful papayas, lush green shoots, and coconuts. Seeing all these wonderful things in front of me instantly sparked my cooking ideas!

Today, I'm going all out for my daughter and nephew who are about to return from school.
Mixed Vegetable Coconut Milk Soup (using freshly squeezed coconut milk for a wonderfully fragrant flavor)
Spicy Pork and Mixed Vegetable Curry (our signature spicy flavor)
Cashew Nut Chili Paste (a creative and delightfully crunchy dish)
Pork and Bamboo Shoot Coconut Milk Curry * Papaya Stir-fried with Eggs (a simple yet incredibly nutritious dish using ingredients from our own garden)
Plus, a variety of fresh vegetables to enjoy with the chili paste.
Finishing each dish was a bit of a struggle, as we ran out of essential ingredients like shrimp paste and fresh chilies. The chilies we planted in the backyard hadn't grown fast enough yet! So, I had to quickly hop on my motorbike to buy some to replenish the flavor. Luckily, we have a two-burner gas stove at home! This allowed me to create the menu simultaneously and quickly.

🏠 A smile at the dinner table. Finally, all the food was meticulously arranged on the table at exactly 12:30 PM, along with refreshing cold drinks and sweet beverages. I sat gazing at the table, filled with such dedication, reflecting on the past half-day. Cooking delicious food for loved ones after a long day of school or hard work is truly fulfilling for a cook like me. Even though life can be hectic and full of challenges, this is the true meaning of family.

I hope this ordinary story of my life today will inspire or bring a smile to some of you. Thank you for your continued support and encouragement.
For today, I must say goodbye. See you again next time. Happy Valentine's Month, everyone! ❤️🙏🏻
