Hello, my lovely friends. In this post, I'll share the joyful story of my family's visit to the annual Trang Fair, also known as the Trang Red Cross Fair or Constitution Fair. The atmosphere, filled with color, music, and a large crowd, made the evening a memorable one.
🎵 Meeting point under the lights of Thai music on the stage of dreams. The main purpose of this trip to the event is to support my daughter and her friends. Today, my daughter's school is holding a Thai music performance on the main stage. She wanted to eagerly cheer on her friends who came to perform. The performance will start at 6:00 PM. Therefore, yesterday evening, I hurried to complete my responsibilities, including housework, animal care, and taking care of my mother-in-law as quickly as possible. When everything was finished ahead of schedule, my daughter and husband had a little happy time together, playing checkers to kill time before our scheduled motorcycle departure at 5:30 PM.
🛵 Travel and traffic, the test before the fun When it's time, we set off by motorcycle. But the shocking thing is, when approaching the event area, which is located on the main road, both sides of the road are lined with densely parked cars and motorcycles, making finding a parking space quite difficult. But luckily, the sun has not yet set, making the evening still bright, and we were able to find a parking space in the end. After parking the car, my husband, daughter, and I headed into the event. The atmosphere outside was lively. Before entering the event, I did not miss taking a few pictures of the atmosphere.
✨ The atmosphere at the event was as lively as ever. This year, the number of vendors may have decreased somewhat compared to previous years, but the crowds remained as bustling as ever. From the moment I stepped foot into the event, I could feel the excitement. A steady stream of visitors poured in. After walking for a while, I stopped to take photos to capture the overall atmosphere, filled with the colorful lights and beautifully decorated shop signs.
Our first destination was to walk to the stage where my daughter's friends were performing. But along the way, the aroma of grilled food wafted into my nose and eyes, and I stumbled upon a shop selling delicious Isaan food. My husband, daughter, and I stopped to rest and purchase some fermented pork sausage (naem) and sai ua (northern Thai sausage) along with drinks, our favorites. With our food in hand, we made it to the stage just in time.
When we arrived, we saw my daughter's friends already on stage, and the performance was about to begin. My husband and I quickly took photos of the young students, while my daughter greeted and chatted with them before the official start of the show.
🎢 The Screams and Laughter Zone: After the Thai musical performance ended and my daughter had taken enough photos and videos of her friends, we dispersed to explore the other zones of the event. We passed by a booth selling beautiful and delicious Thai desserts, so I took some photos of my husband and daughter as souvenirs before buying some souvenirs.
My daughter then asked permission to go to the toy zone. When we arrived, she wanted to ride a rather dangerous ride. Since I still have some back pain, I couldn't ride with her. My husband joined her because we had to sit together on this ride. I was a little worried, but he happily rode with our daughter.
As I stood watching from below, I saw my husband and daughter enjoying themselves. The ride moved at a fairly fast pace, especially during the thrilling parts. Everyone on the ride, including my husband and daughter, were having a blast, screaming and laughing. I kept taking photos until the ride stopped and everyone safely disembarked.
🏡 End of a joyful evening This event was a very short one, as we had to rush home after leaving my mother-in-law with relatives. Even though it was a short time, it was filled with happiness and smiles from the family. It's time to head back.
