I think people will take you for granted if you let them see your weakness
This eagle 🦅 and sparrow situation happens every now and then. Let me add this:
I get what you are saying, and there is some truth in it. But the eagle–sparrow thing is a bit different. It is not just ‘'don’t show weakness or people will take you for granted.’'
It is pointing out how, when someone who is normally strong is struggling, even people who could never match them in normal times suddenly start giving advice and acting like they know better. The sparrow is not really offering genuine help from a place of real knowledge or care — it is using the eagle’s temporary injury as a chance to feel important and superior, even though under normal circumstances it could never teach the eagle anything about flying.That is the real irony the image is highlighting.
Yes, I understood that and I was trying to state something similar to that. I think some people like to prick their nose everywhere what can we say. They feel entitled when they do that.
