Today is Sunday and at lunchtime I was going to go to the store and buy something tasty. I wanted a herring and a bottle of beer. I'm home alone now and I have a lot of free time. I was lying at my laptop, eating apples from my orchard and reading Hive.
But suddenly I thought, why the hell am I going to get up from the couch on Sunday and run to this store. And I already didn’t want beer with herring anymore. What if I don't go to the store? What if I buy HIVE with this saved money, I thought. I was going to spend $5.50 on beer and herring at the store. If you haven’t spent it, it means you’ve earned it, as the great Benjamin Franklin said. I went to the exchange and bought 30 HIVE with this money, and then credited it to HIVE POWER. Good deal, I thought, 30 HIVE once cost $36. Maybe the price will come back and I will have a very good investment today.
I immediately changed my menu for today. I decided to cook some beans from my garden. And in the evening, boil potatoes and fry onions, also from your garden. I went to the kitchen and took out 200 freshly harvested beans from the pods. The beans were so bright that I was even surprised. In the store I bought beans that were not so bright. Eco beans, without the use of pesticides and fertilizers, probably differ from store-bought ones not only in color.
I took 200 grams of red beans and boiled them. Beans are expensive these days, so I saved $1 on this dish because I grew them myself and didn’t buy them at the store. In a couple of days I will go to my garden, I must remember to take some photos of the harvest of various crops.
So, I was too lazy to go to the store today and decided to make some food from my garden. It was tasty and healthy. I invested 30 HIVE and wrote this post. Now I'm lying on the couch and thinking - sometimes it's good to be lazy and not rush anywhere.
In one day I increased my HIVE POWER by 30%. This is probably partly due to recent popular posts on Hive by famous people :) And I won’t stop there. We can always find money somewhere and invest it in our favorite project.
