Hola queridos artesanos y amantes de las manualidades, el día de hoy les traigo una entrada mostrándoles el proceso de hacer un forma original de presentar un regalo, con una cajita personalizada en forma de Ataúd para todas esas personitas con gustos un poco más Darks y góticos 🕸️🦇 , a las que le quieran dar un detalle ,una forma más original y graciosa y que aparte les sirve como cajita decorativa que les sirve para guardar sus cosas como accesorios o colitas para el cabello. Está idea se me ocurrió ya que vienen el cumple de mi amiga y ella le encanta las cositas góticas y la moda alternativa , y entre los regalos que le compré quería darle una mejor presentación a como entregárselo y no solo dárselo en una simple bolsa de regalo y ya , así que me puse a pensar y se me ocurrió está cajita ,quédate aquí para seguir viendo los pasos a pasos.

Hello dear artisans and craft lovers, today I bring you an entry showing you the process of making an original way to present a gift, with a personalized coffin-shaped box for all those people with slightly more dark and gothic tastes 🕸️🦇 , to whom you want to give a detail, a more original and funny way and that also serves as a decorative box that you can use to store your things like accessories or hair ties. This idea came to me because my friend's birthday is coming up and she loves gothic things and alternative fashion, and among the gifts I bought her I wanted to give it a better presentation on how to give it to her and not just give it to her in a simple gift bag and that's it, so I started thinking and I came up with this little box, stay here to continue seeing the step by step instructions.

Let's get to work

#1 Para iniciar hice la forma de un ataúd , usé una bolsa de regalo en cartulina y una carpeta vieja para hacer el soporte , las medias son las siguientes y pueden verlas en la fotos: 10,5 cm para la parte superior, 7 cm de los laterales, 17cm para los laterales inferiores, 16 cm de diámetro entre los laterales superiores, 9 cm de la parte inferior. Réplique la forma en la carpeta y recorté. Para el grosor de la caja usé una caja de zapato , con el cartón de los laterales que media 10,5cm, medí los laterales he hice los dobleces que coincidieran con la forma del ataúd. Aquí haciendo la aclaración para que tuviera más dureza usé ambos lados de la carpeta y con Teipe la uni para que no fueran dos piezas sino una encima de la otra, al igual para la bolsa de regalo, corté dos piezas que pegué una encima de la otra para que la figura quedara más dura.

#1 To start I made the shape of a coffin, I used a cardboard gift bag and an old folder to make the support, the measurements are the following and you can see them in the photos: 10.5 cm for the top, 7 cm for the sides, 17 cm for the bottom sides, 16 cm diameter between the top sides, 9 cm for the bottom. I replicated the shape in the folder and cut it out. For the thickness of the box I used a shoe box, with the cardboard from the sides that measured 10.5 cm, I measured the sides and made the folds that matched the shape of the coffin.Here, to clarify, to make it harder, I used both sides of the folder and with Tape I glued it together so that it wasn't two pieces but one on top of the other. Just like for the gift bag, I cut two pieces that I glued one on top of the other so that the figure would be harder.

#2 Para ir armando la estructura de la caja me ayude del Teipe, pegando la cara que recorté con la forma de ataúd , a los laterales de cartulina ,me ayude de un Teipe transparente grueso para las uniones y una vez que logré armarlo ,le agregué más Teipe en estás uniones para ponerle más dureza, luego con Foami Negro escarchado forré toda la caja incluyendo la parte de abajo, y los laterales.

#2 To assemble the structure of the box I used tape, gluing the face that I cut out in the coffin shape to the sides of the cardboard. I used thick transparent tape for the joints and once I was able to assemble it, I added more tape to these joints to make it harder. Then, with frosted black foam, I covered the entire box, including the bottom and the sides.

#3 Con papel seda rojo, trate de cubrir toda la parte interna de la caja para que no se viera el fondo, una una lámina, y estire el excedente y lo pegué con silicón caliente en los laterales , el resultado fue bien sencillo y se vai desordenado pero está es la primera capa, para la segunda capa recorté tiras largas de papel seda y la fui pegando y haciendo un poco de pliegos y arruchandolo ,para imitar la textura de la tela en el interior del ataúd, también corté otro pedazo rectangular de papel seda que irá en el fondo del ataúd para darle un acabado liso y completo.

#3 With red tissue paper, I tried to cover the entire inside of the box so that the bottom was not visible, I put a sheet of it, stretched the excess and glued it with hot silicone on the sides, the result was very simple and it is messy but this is the first layer, for the second layer I cut long strips of tissue paper and I was gluing it and making some folds and wrinkling it, to imitate the texture of the fabric inside the coffin, I also cut another rectangular piece of tissue paper that will go on the bottom of the coffin to give it a smooth and complete finish.

#4 Para hacer la tapa puse la figura de ataúd encima de una cartulina rosada escolar, está será el fondo, la pegué y la recorte y luego forre la parte superior con Foami escarchado negro.

#4 To make the lid I placed the coffin figure on top of a pink school cardstock, this will be the background, I glued it and cut it out and then covered the top with black frosted Foami.

#5 Para hacer las bisagras de la tapa, corté una tira del borde de bolsa de regalo , aprovechando el material duro que tenía , recorte tres tiras, y les puse foami negro encima, luego corté les corté forma puntiagudas en el extremo, pegué la mitad de estás a la tapa y la otra mitad al borde del cuerpo del ataúd, formando así las bisagras.

#5 To make the hinges for the lid, I cut a strip from the edge of the gift bag, taking advantage of the hard material I had, I cut three strips, and put black foam on top of them, then I cut them into pointed shapes at the end, I glued half of these to the lid and the other half to the edge of the coffin body, thus forming the hinges.

#6 Para darle mucha más personalidad a este ataúd, corté tiras largas de la cartulina plateada ,para hacerle un borde metálico a todo el ataúd, y los pegué alrededor de la tapa, también puse tiras en la parte del cuerpo, en cada esquina para denotar más el diseño, también recorté la forma de una calavera con unos huesitos cruzados , está es una Carabela que me recuerda a mi época emo jajaja toda kawaii. también perfore un agujero en la tapa y en el lateral derecho para agregar un listón que cierre más tarde. También agregué las letras RIP de "rest in peace ".☠️

#6 To give this coffin much more personality, I cut long strips of silver cardboard, to make a metallic edge to the whole coffin, and glued them around the lid, I also put strips on the body part, in each corner to denote the design more, I also cut out the shape of a skull with some crossed bones, this is a Caravel that reminds me of my emo time hahaha all kawaii.☠️I also drilled a hole in the lid and on the right side to add a ribbon to close later.I also added the letters RIP for "rest in peace".☠️

#7 para darle un soporte agujereó la parte superior del ataúd, y con un retazo de cinta fucsia, introduje para crear un mango y así sostenerla, y los extremos de la cinta lo pegué bien con silicón caliente. Para darle unos últimos detalles más girlys ✨☠️( y aunque Darks también) ,corté unas Cruz en Foami rosa do escarchado, y algunos destellos para darle más vida a la calavera, y para aumentar la adorabilidad le puse unas mejillas rosadas , para cerrar la tapa corté unos centímetros de cinta rosada pastel cero e hice un lazo 🎀.

Y listo este es el resultado ✨🦇✨ bien bonito quedó, me encantó 👌🏼 se adorable pero al mismo tiempo bien gótico que era la idea, aquí meterme los regalos que compré y le da un toque bien divertido y original, y hasta fashion jeje ,ustedes que opinan ? Les gustaría algo así ? Jaja la verdad para mí si es de mis gustos porque me gustas las cositas góticas ,y lo que me recuerda a mi etapa emo (no era emo solo me ponía converse y escuchaba 2 canciones de Avril Lavigne y me creía emo jajaja) , pero ustedes que opinan de la cajita ? La ven muy rara?.

#7 to give it a support, I made a hole in the top of the coffin, and with a piece of fuchsia ribbon, I introduced it to create a handle to hold it. I glued the ends of the ribbon well with hot silicone. To give it some final, more girly details ✨☠️ (and although Darks too), I cut some Crosses in frosted pink Foami, and some sparkles to give the skull more life, and to increase the adorability I added some rosy cheeks. To close the lid I cut a few centimeters of zero pastel pink ribbon and made a bow 🎀.

**And that's it, this is the result ✨🦇✨ It turned out very pretty, I loved it 👌🏼 It's adorable but at the same time very gothic, which was the idea. I put the gifts I bought in here and it gives it a very fun and original touch, and even fashionable hehe, what do you think? Would you like something like this?
