This is a unique and interesting species of beetle that I found in a rotting durian tree trunk, I found them while cleaning the garden a few days ago, and actually this beetle is still foreign to me and this is the first discovery for me since becoming a nature observer, I noticed that they have a unique way of life where they make small holes in the rotten durian tree trunk which is their main nest, and I don't know when and where they will look for food, whether they are hunting predators or they are just decomposers who use organic matter as their main food. them, so far I don't know for sure about their behavior and the way they live.

physical characteristics, this beetle has a predominantly black body color and is filled with a straight line pattern throughout the beetle's body, while on its legs, this beetle has slender and strong legs with black on the top and reddish brown on the bottom, the beetle's head is equipped with two protruding eyes and two antennae that resemble small saws, the behavior of these beetles is very calm, when I cut them open and they do not show any aggressive attitude or fly away, it can be understood that they are one of the tame beetles.

Are you familiar with this beetle?

here are some photos of beetles that I have captured for you, I hope you can see them more closely, the black color of their bodies is the main attraction of these beetles and they stand out among the organic materials in the forest where they are located, their calm behavior shows that this beetle is a species that is easy to approach and observe, therefore, if possible I will carry out several stages of research to find out more about this species and publish it to everyone here or anywhere. If you are familiar with this beetle then don't hesitate to leave your comments, I will really thank you for that.
