When traveling by car with my family my favorite time is stopping on the road for small picnics when we can all enjoy the goodies that my beloved wife has prepared.
But sometimes when a long trip is not connected with rest but is part of work in the car I find myself alone and this is a very boring time lol.
But it's good that the aroma of coffee in a thermos and hot sandwiches that my wife has packed for me for the road remind me that it's time to stop take a sip of coffee eat a sandwich and look around.
So it was on that earlier autumn morning when I stopped on the side of the road in the gorge of hills I realized that it was time to drink coffee so that my eyes would wake up, and I still had a long way to go.
There was a thick fog around and I did not immediately understand the landscape that surrounded me.
Having finished my coffee I decided to get out of the car and stretch my muscles and bones a little and saw a small forest on the opposite side of the road that beckoned me with its mushroom aroma.
I looked at my watch and saw that I had the opportunity to spend one hour exploring this forest for mushrooms and I walked down the hill on the grass wet with dew.
The landscape around me was worthy of a brush and oil on canvas.
My path to the forest was blocked by huge spider webs covered with drops of dew sparkling in the dim light of the sun hidden by the fog.
I did not part with my camera and was able to capture this beauty.
I spent a lot of time admiring the web.
Finally having reached the forest and wandered around it for about a quarter of an hour I did not find a single mushroom.
Although the search for mushrooms was unsuccessful I did not feel that I had wasted my time because the memory card of my camera was full of photographs of the unforgettable beauty of the crystal web.
More to come!
